The engine is now performing very well. We got the shipment on time…I
think you shipped from FL on a Monday and I got a call from the marina near
Annapolis that it was here the following Wednesday afternoon. We got it on
the boat and powered to our regular slip. I did have a local serviceman from
the Honda dealer look at it. It was set a bit lean for this environment but
a five minute tweak and it is now starting fine. I am happy for the
opportunity to get such a fine engine as a pre-owned item. A used Honda of
recent (2 or 3 years) vintage is nigh unto impossible to find and long
shafts suitable for a sailboat are even rarer…I had no luck finding one
locally new or used which I could get in time for my deadline in my
“first-in, last-out” wintering marina. They have a really strict launch
schedule. I highly recommend your firm as an honest and reliable place
to do business.
