Thanks for the fast delivery of my “fish Camp” motor. It arrived sooner than I expected and very well packed. This motor looks and runs excellent! This 4 HP BF4DHSHNA (converted to 15hp) fired up strong on the 2nd pull. I took my 2 oldest kids fishing twice in the first week when it arrived! This was in October and I needed to take a “personal day” from work. I looked for a used motor for 2 months (too long!) in magazines and on-line auctions, but I wanted a motor that won’t give me trouble for many years to come. This is the one. We have a bunch of fishing trips planned for next spring. We’re so happy with this engine!

Hey guys:
I bought a short shaft 2003 2 stroke Mercury 9.9 from you guys last winter.
For about half what the local Merc dealer is charging for a new 4 stroke pig
that weighs 25 lbs more, I got a motor that seems like brand new! To save
some cash I picked it up from the freight company locally. You delivered in
7 days. The freight guys loaded it into my car in its original box.

Everything about this seems brand new. I got a three year warrantee. The
brand new manual allowed me to permanently install this motor in about half
an hour. It would have been only 10 minutes but I took 20 minutes to make
sure I found the exact center of the boat before drilling 2 holes in the
stern for the mounting bolts.

t’s been a great year. It is on a mint 1969 14 foot DuraNautic aluminum
fishing boat that was given to me. Because of the age and design of the boat
I could not go for the heavier 4 stroke. The motor is perfect. Everyone
comments on how powerful, quiet and clean it is. We can talk to each other
at speed and its so quiet we can troll for trout and put-put near the shore
for bass. We don’t need a second electric trolling motor with this little
guy. It goes nearly nearly 30 MPH with me and my kid and unlike the new
heavy 4 strokes, at 75 lbs it does not make the rear end sink. It gets great
mileage too.
