Yamaha’s unique fuel-efficient EFI fuel injection system, ECU microprocessor, clean combustion technology and noise reduction are designed to work together in the best possible way, and can be easily and quickly checked using our sophisticated diagnostic system, which displays engine and performance data via a computer connection waiting.
Like all of our EFI engines, the F200 can be connected directly to Yamaha’s exclusive network system, allowing you to choose from our wide range of digital gauges.

All of our EFI engines can be connected to Yamaha’s network system, allowing you to choose from our wide range of digital gauges – allowing you to get the most out of your engine. A multifunctional tachometer informs you about
speed, operating hours, tilt angle, oil pressure and warning lights. The speed/fuel management combo gauge reports speed, fuel level and fuel efficiency.

4 valves per cylinder, dual overhead camshafts (DOHC), and variable camshaft timing (VCT). Combined in this way, these
modern technologies ensure an outstanding horsepower output from every liter of fuel with an ideal power-to-weight ratio.

A compact design could be achieved We designed the F200 to be an ultra-compact engine, with crankshafts with offset crankshafts and gear-driven balancer shafts being just two of the technical advances our engineers have realised. Thanks to a special exhaust system, the engine is also extremely quiet.
Variable trolling speed
Another feature of the digital LAN system is the handy switch on the tachometer, which allows instant control of the engine speed. The speed can be easily and conveniently adjusted in the range of 650 to 900 rpm in steps of 50 rpm.
The result: effortless and relaxed cruising.
SDS (Shift Dampener System)
First introduced in our larger V8 and V6 models, Yamaha’s patented SDS dampening for smooth gear changes minimizes the typical shifting noise. A toothed washer and a toothed rubber hub absorb noise and vibration. This well thought-out solution enables smooth and quiet shifting.
